about us
ethos
At Arch Hive we realise that the construction industry is responsible for consuming half of all natural resources we extract from our planet, so rather than being part of this problem, we aim to be part of the solution.
By using rigorous methods of detailing such as Passivhaus and Robust Details during construction, reducing material wastage, usage and transportation, we are ensuring our buildings are fit for the future and constructed in a way that reduces harm on the present. We always aim to design to Passivhaus standards and urge our clients to embrace a low-energy and fabric first approach.
what we do
We work on a range of different projects at all stages within the education, mixed-use, cultural, private and commercial residential sectors.
No project is to big, or to small. We’ve worked on single storey house extensions all the way up to large multi-million pound residential schemes and world expo pavilions.
Working with educational organisations, local authorities, developers and private homeowners to improve the built environment around us and challenge expectations of what can be delivered through architecture.
